Simplex Scientific Acquires Blood Pressure Detection Technologies
Middleton, WI USA – November 1, 2010 – Simplex Scientific has purchased the advanced blood pressure sensing and related technologies of BPSure LLC. These patented technologies for the rapid measurement of Blood Pressure offer a number of advantages over current blood pressure methods. The advance detection and data processing methods
are relatively insensitive to motion, and noise compared with conventional
methods which will allow improve performance in a number of situations.
Simplex will develop this technology into OEM module for integration into other medical devices and a series of portable high performance blood pressure monitors designed for use in high noise, high vibration environments such as ambulance, helicopter and military.
The first product introduction is targeted for Quarter 3 of 2011.

crystal and a Temperature and CO2 controlled, high humidity system.
