The design utilized by the Simplex
Split-Flow Gas Cell™ has been awarded US Patent 7,749,446. This
design for reduced contamination has used extensively for High-Temperature (350
C) TGA work and will soon be applied to other spectroscopic gas analysis
methods.

Simplex has acquired the exclusive license
from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory ( Battelle) for the manufacturing and distribution of
the patent pending technology use by the IncubATR™. This advanced system for live cell analysis is designed to work
with most FTIR systems. It consists of a ATR (attenuated total reflectance)
crystal and a Temperature and CO2 controlled, high humidity system.
This system ideal for use in toxicology
studies of nanoparticles and nanomaterials and their impact on living cells.

The next generation of the Simplex
ElectroPointer™ system is introduced. The new design doubles the
magnification of the internal microscope and also enhances the manual polishing capabilities
for finishing tip polishing.
